Sections of road that make up stages of Grand Tours get covered in the nicknames of riders and short messages of encouragement in paint and chalk.

Despite being on walls and street furniture, works of street artists are sometimes removed from their original locations to be protected, exhibited or sold.

At the end of major sporting events some fans are compelled to take a physical memento – whether turf from a football pitch or a cobble stone from Paris-Roubaix.

Here these concepts are combined in the form of maquette. A fictitious sections of road removed from the Tour de France.
